The Jefferson Cup is a youth soccer tournament held annually since 1981 in Richmond, Virginia, and hosted by the Richmond Strikers soccer club . According to GotSoccer.com, the women’s team ranks first among youth soccer tournaments in the United States, and the boys rank 31st.

About 800 boys and girls teams typically participate in the Jefferson Cup. , and about 500 teams are ineligible for the tournament each year. Age groups range from 11 to 18 years old. In 2014, 461 girls’ teams and 401 boys’ teams were entered.

Beginning in 2015, it was played over three weekends in March, instead of two weekends as in past years. It included one weekend for the boys, two weekends for the girls, and a goalkeeping demonstration.
